These hats are just so beautiful. Having a nutcracker outfit that is gorgeous from head to toe in all the details makes a world of difference. The adjustable bands in these hats is SO important, and I super appreciate Catherine's help to make them work with all different age kiddos. I ordered a small and a medium in the blue velvet with red ribbon (the shorter of the blue velvet options). The small worked really well for a five year old boy and was just a little big on his 2 year old brother (but worked!). We also bought a medium that worked okay on the 5 year old also, at its smallest setting. For most kiddos, stick with the size small, which can still fit adults also.
